GetUp Grayndler Takes On Adani

After an empowering weekend with over 100 volunteers committing to taking action, we've planned a GetUp Grayndler Action Group (that means you!) meeting for next week.

We'll get to know each other a bit more, and we'll also get an update on GetUp's campaign strategy to stop Adani Carmichale mine and protect the Reef. Importantly we'll find out how we can help ensure this dirty coal never sees the light of day and devise a plan for early next year.

Here's a lose agenda for those of you who may need to rock up a lil late. I'll be there from 6pm onwards and I'm looking forward to feeling that community comradery once again! :)

6:00: Arrival and chit chat
7:00: Adani Campaign Briefing and community action planning

BYO drinks and food.

See you there!

*If weather is crappy, we'll find another place near Enmore Park.

For Colour Code’s election day efforts, we are prioritising people who identify as Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander, a Person of Colour or from non-European background because we believe it sends a powerful message to politicians to centre the voices of people most directly impacted by the current wave of discriminatory policies.

But it is fantastic when Allies support our work! If you are a white or European background Ally keen to get involved, we will be in touch with how best you can support the campaign over the next few weeks.
